Quasar's Gods greatest handy work

God's promise to fix the laws of heaven are attached to the future return of the Messiah - the second coming.

A quasar is an extremely luminous active galactic nucleus (AGN). It is powered by a supermassive black hole at the center of a galaxy, which is accreting matter from its surroundings. The infalling matter is heated to extremely high temperatures, forming a bright accretion disk around the black hole. The accretion disk produces jets of material that are ejected at relativistic speeds, perpendicular to the disk. These jets can be seen as bright beams of light extending from the quasar nucleus.

Quasar M87 is one of the most well-studied quasars. It is located in the Virgo Cluster, about 55 million light-years from Earth. M87 is powered by a supermassive black hole with a mass of about 6.5 billion times the mass of the Sun. The outflow tracts from M87 are about 40,000 light-years long. The speed of the outflow is about 2,000 kilometers per second. This is approximately 0.67% the speed of light. 

As their speed is sublight Jason Lisles ASC and Einstein synchronization [ESC] synchrony conventions do not apply. Rather they formed over vast times and can be easily calculated by distance times speed.

As of August 2023, we have discovered over a million quasars. The nearest known quasar is about 600 million light-years from Earth, and the most distant known quasar is about 29.36 billion light-years away.

Since the million quasars all have differing outflow tract lengths they represent differing stages of development and as this psalmist says that information reaches us night after night.

Psalms 19:

The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.

Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge. (ie light is constantly in transit not instant reaching us).

As well God tells Job he creates their light and moves it.

Job 38:

"Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And.., where is its place, That you may take it to its territory And that you may discern the paths to its home?

Light has locality & moves something we just discovered in the 1,800's, 3,500 years after Job.

It is estimated that the outflow tracts from M87 took vast time to form. This is based on the length of the tracks and the speed of the outflow. 

The outflow tracts from M87 are thought to be caused by the relativistic jets from the supermassive black hole. The jets interact with the surrounding gas, producing a shock wave. The shock wave heats the gas and drives it away from the quasar nucleus. This creates a channel through which the outflow can travel.

The outflow tracks from M87 have a significant impact on the surrounding galaxy. The outflow can strip gas from the galaxy, preventing star formation. The outflow can also heat the gas in the galaxy, which can also suppress star formation.

The outflow tracks from M87 are a dramatic example of the power of active galactic nuclei. They provide a unique window into the processes that shape God's creation of galaxies under his fixed laws of nature.
