Quasar's Gods greatest handy work

Image
God's promise to fix the laws of heaven are attached to the future return of the Messiah - the second coming. Jeremiah 33: "Thus says the Lord, 'If My covenant for day and night stand not, and the FIXED PATTERNS of heaven and earth I have not established, then I would reject the descendants of Jacob and David My servant, not taking from his descendants rulers (including Christ) over the descendants of Abraham.." A quasar is an extremely luminous active galactic nucleus (AGN). It is powered by a supermassive black hole at the center of a galaxy, which is accreting matter from its surroundings. The infalling matter is heated to extremely high temperatures, forming a bright accretion disk around the black hole. The accretion disk produces jets of material that are ejected at relativistic speeds, perpendicular to the disk. These jets can be seen as bright beams of light extending from the quasar nucleus. Quasar M87 is one of the most well-studie...

The "One-Way" Speed of Light is measured for the first time.

Image
Jeremiah 33:25 Thus says the Lord, 'If My covenant for day and night stand not, and the fixed patterns of heaven and earth I have not established, Job 38:19 "Where is the way to the dwelling of light?.. That you may take it to its territory And that you may discern the paths to its home? The observation of gravitational waves and gamma ray bursts from two neutron star–black hole coalescences in 2020 was a major breakthrough in astrophysics. It was the first time that gravitational waves and gamma ray bursts had been detected from such a system, and it provided new insights into the nature of these extreme objects. One of the most intriguing aspects of these observations is that they confirm the one-way speed of light. The speed of light is a fundamental constant of nature, and it is the same in all frames of reference. This means that, regardless of how fast you are moving, light will always travel at the same speed relative to you. The one-way speed of light has been tested ...

Jeremiah 33 and the Anthropic Principle

Image
Jeremiah 33:25- Thus says the Lord, 'If My covenant for day and night stand not, and the fixed patterns of heaven and earth I have not established, then I would reject the descendants of Jacob and David My servant, not taking from his descendants rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.'" Jeremiah 33:25-26 can be seen as speaking to the fixed laws of nature and the fine-tuning anthropic principles of physics. In verse 25, God says, "If My covenant for day and night stand not, and the fixed patterns of heaven and earth I have not established," which implies that the laws of nature are fixed and reliable. This is consistent with the scientific understanding of the universe, which is that it is governed by fundamental laws of physics that are constant throughout time and space. The fine-tuning anthropic principle states that the universe is finely tuned for the existence of life. This means that the physical constants of the universe are ...

Reconciling the Greenland ice-core and radiocarbon timescales through the Laschamp geomagnetic excursion- review

Image
The article "Reconciling the Greenland ice-core and radiocarbon timescales through the Laschamp geomagnetic excursion" by Richard A. Staff et al. (2019) investigates the discrepancy between the Greenland ice-core and radiocarbon timescales for the period around the Laschamp geomagnetic excursion (LGM). The LGM was a brief period, about 41,000 years ago, when the Earth's magnetic field weakened significantly, before returning to its normal strength. This event is recorded in Greenland ice cores as a sharp decrease in the concentration of cosmogenic radionuclides, such as 10Be and 14C. The authors of the article argue that the discrepancy between the two timescales is due to an error in the calibration curve used to convert radiocarbon dates to calendar years. The IntCal13 calibration curve, which is the most commonly used curve, is based on a dataset of tree rings that does not extend back to the LGM. This means that the curve is not able to accurately account...

Danny Faulkner of AIG backs Einstein

" Over the years, the predictions of general relativity have been tested repeatedly, and it is one of the best-supported theories in the history of science. " -Faulkner General relativity predicts that the universe has been expanding over vast time. This prediction was first made by Alexander Friedmann and Georges LemaĆ®tre in the early 1920s, shortly after Einstein published his theory of general relativity. In 1917, Willem de Sitter used Einstein's equations to predict the discovery of an expanding universe. A letter from Albert Einstein to astronomer Willem de Sitter, complaining that the expanding-universe theory implied a moment of creation: “To admit such possibilities seems senseless to me.” Friedmann and LemaĆ®tre showed that general relativity predicts that the universe should expand and dilute with time, as a result of the gravitational attraction of all the matter and energy in the universe. This expansion would cause galaxies to drift away from each ...

Day 3 "Veggies" makes the D4 luminaries "appear"

Image
The Hebrew verb hayah can mean "to be," "to exist," or "to become." However, in the context of the phrase "Let there be light," the verb hayah is more likely to be translated as "to appear." This is because the phrase is a command, and the verb hayah in the jussive mood (which is the form used in the phrase) often has the connotation of "to come into being" or "to appear." In other words, when God said "Let there be light," He was not simply stating that light existed. He was commanding light to appear. And so, when the light appeared, it was as if it had just "appeared" out of nowhere. This interpretation of the verb hayah is supported by the fact that the word for "light" in the phrase, 'or,' is also a noun. This means that the phrase "Let there be light" can be literally translated as "Let there be a light." And when God commanded light to appea...

God shines the moon on Darwin's foolery

Genesis 1:2 The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God (point of view) was moving over the surface of the waters. Genesis 1:3 Then God said, "Let there be light" and there was light. The Theia collision is a proposed event in the early history of the Solar System, in which a Mars-sized planet called Theia collided with the early Earth. The collision is thought to have occurred about 4.5 billion years ago, and is credited with forming the Moon. The Theia collision made Earth's atmosphere less opaque (let there be light). This allowed more sunlight to reach the surface, which was essential for the development of life on Earth.  Recall the point of view of the writer in Gen 1:2 is the holy spirit over the depths on the earth's surface . Genesis 1:11 Then God said, "Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit (and oxygen ) after their kind ...
